Thank You From the Special Olympics

Dear Patty,
I wanted to send along a personal note thanking you for the help on our 40th Anniversary Gala. Your cash contribution to underwrite some of the athletes dinners was exemplary. Also, your contribution of cookies for the “Milk and Cookies for a Year” made for such a unique item in our auction.

The athletes of Special Olympics Illinois cannot compete without the help of volunteers and donors like you. So, doing what you have done has made it possible for so many athletes to compete. And through sports competition, the athletes become more confident and aware of how to be a part of every day society. Special Olympics Illinois not only gets over 21,000 athletes ready for sport, but ready for life. As a brother of an athlete who has passed on, this touches me personally.

Again, thank you for everything that you have done for me, my family, my organization and most importantly the athletes. As I always say. “It’s all about the athletes”.

I hope that we have the chance to hook up for some other events.
